7th Annual Earth Day Poster Contest
Contest is open to all students in grades K thru 12 who live or attend school ini Assembly District 50.
To participate, students must submit a poster related to the 2021 theme of “Restore Our Earth.”
The poster should be 8 ½” by 11” and must be on recycled paper. The poster can use any form of media including, but not limited to, photos, drawings, paintings and collages. Some examples may include such things as showing an understanding of environmental advocacy, importance of renewable energy, or anything that shows basic understanding of the importance for caring for our planet.
All posters must be submitted no later than Monday, April 19, 2021.Posters received after that date will not be considered in this year’s contest.
All posters must have school information, teacher information, full name, grade level and signed release form to be considered. (Earth Day Poster Challenge Authorization Form )

Winners will be announced on Earth Day April 22, 2021.
There will be three (3) First Prize Winners, each selected from the K-3rd, 4th-6th and 7th-12th grade categories. There will also be one (1) Grand Prize Winner selected from the entire participant pool. All winners will receive a personalized letter from me, a California State Assembly Certificate of Recognition, and have their posters showcased on my social media accounts.
