Hollywood Family Resource Fair.pdfOn Saturday, August 5th, the Office of Assemblymember Richard Bloom, in partnership with the Youth Policy Institute, Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council, After-School All-Stars and Hollywood Hills West will be hosting a FREE Family Resource Fair at Yucca Park & Community Center.
The Hollywood Family Resource Fair is a great opportunity to interact with representatives from various non-profit and government organizations to learn about programs and services that may be helpful to you and your family and in some cases may reduce your family’s monthly expenses. Assemblymember Bloom's Office will distribute FREE backpacks and school supplies to local children to help prepare them for the upcoming school year. (Due to limited supplies, priority will be given to families who are the first to RSVP for the event).
This promises to be a great event for the whole family to enjoy. There will be an obstacle course, games to play and kids will learn about earthquake safety by experiencing a 5.7 magnitude earthquake in the County of Los Angeles Fire Department’s Shakey Quakey House!! Plus we will have a balloon artist and face painting!!
We look forward to meeting each of you and hearing any thoughts or concerns you may have on issues facing our state and local community.
