Sacramento – Assembly Majority Leader Eloise Gómez Reyes (D -San Bernardino) introduced AB 412 which establishes a new commission to oversee the status of human rights within the state of California. The California Commission on Human Rights would provide oversight and policy recommendations aimed to protect the human rights of all Californians.
Sacramento –Assembly Majority Leader Eloise Gómez Reyes (D-San Bernardino) introduced AB 393 to support the transfer of child care and development programs from the California Department of Education (CDE) to the California Department of Social Services (CDSS). The transition will create a more equitable and integrated child care and social safety net system for families, children and providers.
Sacramento – The following is a statement made by Majority Leader Eloise Gómez Reyes regarding the passage of Eviction Moratorium Legislation.
“SB 91 passed by the Legislature and signed into law by Governor Newsom will provide an extension of the eviction moratorium which is set to expire on January 31st.

San Bernardino - The senior population is growing in San Bernardino County and now, more than ever, identifying and solving issues they face is important to ensuring a respectable quality of life for them. Due to seniors being most vulnerable to the COVID-19 pandemic, Assemblymember Eloise Reyes coordinated an effort to provide seniors with resources they need. Committed to this task, Assemblymember Reyes held her 4th Annual Senior Advocacy Week from October 5th to the 9th; visiting 12 senior facilities.
