Reyes Calls on Congress to Support our Dreamers

Sacramento – Assemblymember Eloise Gómez Reyes (D-San Bernardino) jointly authored House Resolution HR 66 to condemn President Trump’s decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. “While immigration is a matter of federal law the state of California must send a strong message that we support our Dreamers and want to see a quick solution that will keep them safe and free from the fear of deportation.” HR 66 urges Congress to develop a bipartisan and more effective version of DACA.  Here’s more in this Assembly Access video.   http://www.asmdc.org/reyes
