Reyes and Local Students Celebrate Bringing Sidewalks to Muscoy

(Muscoy, CA) - Assemblymember Eloise Gómez Reyes joined SOAR IE and Safe Routes to School National Partnership for the ribbon cutting ceremony for Muscoy Sidewalks for Safety, a community-driven initiative to bring sidewalks for students in Muscoy. “The students spoke, the parents joined us, the students helped us – they said this is what we want, we want crosswalks. We want to be able to get to school safely,” Assemblymember Reyes said at the event. “So, because of that commitment, my office has worked tirelessly to make that priority a reality through policy and working on projects throughout the Inland region.
