Assemblymember Bloom Hosts Exide Contamination Cleanup Hearing in Los Angeles

(Los Angeles) – Assemblymember Richard Bloom (D-Santa Monica) who chairs the Assembly Budget Committee No. 3 on Resources and Transportation, held an Oversight Hearing on the Status of the Exide Residential Cleanup at the Resurrection Church in Los Angeles. “The Exide battery plant is the community’s Flint, Michigan. For decades, the owners of the plant and our government failed to protect members of the community,” said Assemblymember Bloom.
