Assemblymember Reyes Author’s Bill to Combat Youth Homelessness

Sacramento –Yesterday, Assemblymember Eloise Gómez Reyes (D- San Bernardino) introduced Assembly Bill 307 which would establish the Youth Experiencing Homelessness Grant Program to provide grants to non-profits or continuum of care administrative entities to provide services for youth experiencing homelessness.

Second Young Legislators Class under Assemblymember Reyes Graduates, Cements Inland Empire Youth Activism Program

San Bernardino – During Assemblymember Reyes’ first Legislative term, 59 students who reside throughout the 47th Assembly District have completed and graduated from her Young Legislators Program. The program focuses on three main themes: civic engagement, public policy and professional life skills with the end goal of professionally empowering students and showing those with an interest in Civil Service what that career truly looks like.

License Fee Restoration Bill Introduced by Assemblymember Reyes and Local City Officials

Sacramento –Yesterday, Assemblymember Eloise Gómez Reyes (D- San Bernardino), accompanied by a group of officials from the city of Fontana, introduced AB 213, a bill that will restore Vehicle Licensing Fee (VLF) revenue to cities that have expanded or incorporated additional areas. Among the local officials to join Assemblymember Reyes were Fontana Mayor Aquanetta Warren and Fontana Chief of Police, Billy Green.

Sacramento –Assemblymember Eloise Gómez Reyes (D- San Bernardino) Chair of the Assembly Human Services Committee introduced today Assembly Bill 194, a bill that recognizes the benefits of quality early care and education in a child’s life by providing funding and access for childcare services.

Assemblymember Reyes Statement on Governor Newsom’s Inauguration
