Sacramento – Earlier today, the Senate Committee on Labor and Industrial Relations heard and passed AB 44 (Reyes) with unanimous and bi-partisan support after some very emotional and, at times, difficult testimony from Sally Cardinale & Julie Paez, both survivors of the terrorist attack of Dec. 2nd, 2015.
Replacement of the Mt. Vernon Bridge in San Bernardino is a top priority, and a significant reason why I voted for Senate Bill 1, The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017.
Sacramento – On June 16, 2017 The California State Parks Office of Grants and Local Services (OGALS) awarded the City of Fontana $1,000,000 to construct an artificial turf soccer field, field lighting and water conservation measures at Fontana Central City Soccer Park.
The Youth Soccer and Recreation Development (YS) Program provides one-time financial assistance for recreational projects that target low-income and heavily populated urban areas with high crime and unemployment rates.
I am excited to announce the 2017 30 Under 30 Awardees. These 30 young men and women under the age of 30 exemplify dedication, innovation and service in the 47th Assembly District. They are the entrepreneurs, innovators, public servants and community members that will define the Inland Empire in the years to come. Over the last few months we have received an overwhelming amount of nominations, and the process of choosing the 30 Under 30 was not an easy task.
