I’m pleased to share that the South Coast Air Quality Management District is now accepting applications for its INVEST CLEAN program, an important initiative that supports zero-emission technologies in goods movement and logistics.
This program will provide funding for:
- Heavy-duty vehicle charging infrastructure
- Battery-electric freight vehicles (Class 8)
- Battery-electric cargo handling equipment
- Battery-electric switcher locomotives

INVEST CLEAN is a transformational effort to modernize how goods move through our region, spanning from the San Pedro Bay Ports across Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties, all the way to California’s borders with Arizona and Nevada. By investing in clean technologies, we are protecting public health, creating green jobs, and improving air quality for Inland Empire families.
