Assemblymember Eloise Reyes, Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County, and the Office of State Controller Betty Yee has partnered with local agencies to host Get Yo’ Money 2020 in partnership with VITA Day and you are invited to attend and help us share the word! This will be an immersive family experience that will include Free Tax Assistance for the first 100 individuals who attend, information on Scholarships and Grants, Unclaimed Property Applications, and other money saving tips. Plus, there will be a Kid Zone, Resource Fair, Face Painting, On-Site Child Care, Live Music, and Free Tacos!
Last year, Governor Gavin Newsom increased the budget for the California Earned Income Tax Credit (CalEITC) and approved the Young Child Tax Credit (YCTC). The Young Child Tax Credit will add up to $1,000 to the tax refund of parents who have at least one child younger than age 6 as of December 31, 2019. We want to ensure our community takes advantage of these credits!
Bring your entire family for a day of fun, resources, and the opportunity to receive free tax assistance and tax credits based on your eligibility!
