California Mortgage Relief

-

The United States Department of the Treasury has approved California’s plan to provide $1 billion in mortgage relief, providing help to as many as 40,000 struggling homeowners.

The California Mortgage Relief Plan is committed to supporting those hit hardest by the pandemic, including homeowners who have fallen behind on their housing payments. The program will help homeowners make past due housing payments — to a maximum of $80,000 per household — by making a one-time direct payment to the mortgage servicers.

Join me and the California Mortgage Relief, Councilmember Kimberley Calvin, and Uplift San Bernardino for an informational webinar to learn more about the program.

For more information, contact Maha Rizvi at Maha.rizvi@asm.ca.gov or (909) 381-3238. For questions about relief, please submit in advance by emailing our office at assemblymember.reyes@assembly.ca.gov. Those who wish to submit questions, please do so by Tuesday, May 31 at 5 p.m.
