San Bernardino – In light of yesterday’s tragedy at North Park Elementary School in San Bernardino, Assemblymember Eloise Gómez Reyes and Option House, Inc. will hold a press conference at Option House in San Bernardino to discuss the issue of domestic violence and the impacts it has on families, children and our communities as well as the importance of speaking out when it occurs.
Assemblymember Eloise Gómez Reyes, a member of the Assembly Select Committee on Domestic Violence, had this to say after yesterdays shooting. “It’s imperative that we do everything possible to call out domestic violence when it happens and to be there for the victims and connect them with services so they can begin the healing process.”
Option House, Inc. is a San Bernardino County 501c3 Not-for-profit organization whose mission is to empower victims of domestic violence by providing 24-hour crisis intervention services.
