(Sacramento) – Assemblymember Eloise Gómez Reyes (D-San Bernardino) joined the majority of the State Assembly in endorsing Governor Jerry Brown’s Attorney General nominee Xavier Becerra. “California needs a fighter. A fighter who will defend the rights of those without the means to fight for themselves. We need a fighter who will resist efforts to harm our students in the DACA program. We need a fighter who will prevent the use California resources to engage in mass deportation activity. We need a fighter that will resist the creation of a Muslim registry or any other religious based registry. We need a fighter to product reproductive rights!
